Pluto's not a Planet

...hey how many planets are there in our solar system? ....

tick tock tick tock.. NINE? well if that was asked you last year.. you were right... but now... NINE? na-ah!!!!! its EIGHT!

well in the International Astronomical Union (IAU) meeting held in Prague, Czech Republic.. it was decided that Pluto's actually only a "dwarf planet" (there are about 44 of such planets in our system) and not really one of the bigger guys like Mars, Earth, Jupiter and so forth... just think about the number of books that ned to be re-written due to this change... tsk tsk....

  • ...well, PayPal's sort of "afraid" of bringing its services here due to widespread corruption and stuff.. well we cant' blame them - statistics and studies prove that... hence the campaign to change that reputation and show them that PayPal here can indeed work...

here's a good article explaining why we need PayPal here and what it can do for us all:

    World Basketball Championships

Click to Enter USA Basketball Website
...any of you guys watching the basketball championships in Japan? well to update you, Team USA's already 3-0 in its Group (D)...

it has already beaten Puerto Rico, China and last night, Slovenia... well Slovenia gave Team USA a scare last night... but hmm... the game's already well in the books if you ask me...

but the story last night wasn't really how large was USA's margin of victory over Slovenia but Dwayne Wade's dunk agaisnt Primov Brezec (did i spell that right? lol)...

its reminiscent of Vince Carter's dunk against France (also in the WBC last time around)... in short, Carter's dunk was even more spectacular since he literally drove that to the hole (it wasn't an alley-oop) and France's center was guarding him straight up.. (i'll try to get a pic of that somewhere) and Carter still posterized him - even jumping over him.. yes literally.. 7 feet and all...

    Nachooooooooooooooo.....

Click to Visit Nacho Libre Official Siteat long last.. i got to see Nacho Libre...

well i wasn't disappointed to tell you the truth.. if you loved School of Rock.. you'll surely love Nacho...

once again Jack Black works with kids, this time as a wrestler-wannabe friar... there are no big stars here (except Black of course) which i think helps the movie since you get to focus more on the acting and the "other" stuff... like its cinematography...

if you love lomography or photography for that matter.. you'll love the movie's cinematography... its so crisp and every scene reminds you of a beautiful photograph you've seen somewhere...

...Jack Black is in his usual great acting self even belting some tunes reminiscent of School of Rock... even his partner Hector Jimenez (Esqueleto) - the thin guy running away from the bees, was very funny as well... watch out for him to hit more movies soon...Sister Encarnacion and the Kids and of course the lovely Ana De La Reguera (Sister Encarnacion)... her acting seems effortless and so true... her role as a nun was perfect for her... like Hector, she'll hit the big time soon too i predict...

overall, when i first stepped in the theatre, i thought this was just another funny Jack Black movie, but it was more... the scenes with the kids were touching.. i particularly like scenes where Jack lost his supposed big break to at long last win enough money to make the kids (orphans) happy.. "to take them into field trips" and stuff... it was moved by the scene... which is great.. if movies do that to you.. its a sign that its a great movie....

well.. if you've got nothing to do this weekend, heck.. tonight.. go and watch the movie... if you have kids, bring them with you, if you have friends, bring them too.. its a nice find... the tickets may not be "Libre" but hey... its worth it!!
